When rebranding an industry leader, it is important to hold on to as much of their rich history as possible. After many iterations, explorations of new ideas and in-depth research, we settled on a mark that represents the evolution of the company, while still holding on to the important parts of its past. In creating this new brand identity, we used an updated color palette, cleaner type choices, and a better use of negative space. This approach gives Bluesource a clean, modern feel, while not losing the history they are known for.
